Everything you need to know to start using Perena

Swapping

Swap UI

Trade effortlessly between any supported stablecoin, including USD* and its underlying assets (USDC, USDT, PYUSD), along with our ecosystem of partner stablecoins.

Note: Buying/selling USD Star directly in the swap interface means that you're abstracting the process of depositing/withdrawing liquidity as a single asset in/from the Seed Pool.

Operation

1. Select input and output tokens

2. Enter amount

3. Review:

   • Market Price

     • i.e., best available price on the swap, using a small size

   • Minimum Output

     • i.e., minimum amount of tokens you get after swapping

   • Swap Price

     • i.e., price offered by Perena Pools, including fees

   • Price Impact

     • i.e., Refers to the change in a token’s price resulting from the size of a trade within a liquidity pool

4. Set slippage tolerance (top-right corner)

   • i.e., slippage occurs when the final trade price ends up different from the quoted price

5. Confirm swap

• Single Asset: Deposit supported stablecoins to mint USD*

• Multiple Assets: Deposit proportional amounts of USDC/USDT/PYUSD directly to maximize USD* output

To Growth Pools

Growth Pool UI

• Choose between single asset (USD* or partner stablecoin) or balanced deposits

• Balanced deposits (using "Multiple Assets" option) minimize fees, maximizing your Growth Pool LP output

Withdrawing Liquidity

For both Seed and Growth Pools:

• Single Asset: Withdraw to one token (includes swap fee)

• Multiple Assets: Withdraw proportionally to all pool tokens (no fee)

Important Notes

• All swaps and single-asset operations include fees to maintain pool balance

• Monitor price impact before large trades

• Set appropriate slippage tolerance based on trade size
